Is a 30 or 60 minute session with a Certified Athletic Trainer for an previous or current injury a client might have, and soft tissue manipulation.
A 30 minute Cupping Session is also available with our ATCs
The ATCs will do an assessment of medical history, what the main injury the client wants to work on during the session, and give home rehab for the client to do before the next session.
Depending the injury the client comes in for the client should schedule a session once a week or every other week with the ATCs.
Athletic training encompasses the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions. Athletic training is recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA), Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as an allied health care profession.
Mia received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from University of Southern California and went on to receive her Masters of Athletic Training from the Florida International University in Miami. She also holds the National Academy of Sports Medicine's Performance Enhancement Specialist Certifications. She has been practicing Athletic Training for last 5 years.
Miikella is a Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer. She was born and raised here in Southern California, graduating from Fontana High school where she swam and played water polo. After high school, Miikella attended Howard University earning a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance with a concentration in Sports Medicine. While at Howard, she spent two years on the Swimming and Diving team. She went on to receive her Masters of Athletic Training from Azusa Pacific University. During her master's program, Miikella interned with many different programs including Upland High School and Citrus College. Miikella is in her rookie season as an Athletic Trainer and is excited about the road ahead.
